Fashion of Shubuya

Whilst I was in Japan I got to see some of the main parts of Tokyo. Like Roppongi, Ginza, and Shubuya. Sunday the 26th of February found me in Shubuya, where I bought a red and white letter-men sweater! Here are some of the fashionable people I saw around the streets.

Shubuya and the story of Hachicko

Have you ever wondered what depths the love and loyalty of an animal will reach?
In Japan, loyalty is thought of very highly. For this reason, this wall exists at Shubuya Station.
Hachiko was a dog who dearly loved his master. Every day his master would get the train to work.. and the dog would wait at the same time every day at Shubuya Station for his masters return, and walk his master home from the station. One day the man died. Every day for the rest of his life Hachiko waited at the station at the same time every day..
hoping that one day.. his master would return...
Hachicko was 2 years old when his master died.. 9 years later, he was found dead at Shubuya Station.. He died waiting for his master.. This wall at the station commemorates Hachikos life.. and is a reminder to the Japanese people of what loyalty that they regard so highly looks like...
The images that follow were taken around Shubuya.
